Running with kids

I can't really complain much about carrying 40 extra pounds around when Brian is hauling this!

Brian and I are laying here watching TV.  All the kids are asleep.  We hear a thud and anticipate a cry or something, but hear nothing as we jump up to see what happened.  Brian found Rylan on the floor next to his bed.  He had fallen off his bed!  He was still sleeping.  Brian lifted him up into his bed and he let out a loud, "AHHHhh."  I guess it was nice to be comfortable again.

Last week we were talking with Aubryn about Easter.  She really wants to do a pinata of an Easter egg filled with Easter candy.  Brian asked her, "That sounds fun, but what is something we could do to help us remember what Easter is really about?"

She replied, "We could make a pinata of Jesus!"

Reagan saw a guy with a "frowny mustache."  Also, according to Reagan, a killion is more than a billion or a zillion and "google" means infinity.

Last, Brian told me a funny joke this week.

Two cannibals were eating a clown and one turned to the other and said, "Does this taste funny to you?"

One night this summer Brad and I played with my camera. We used the tripod and set the shutter speed slow. Brad used a flash light and we took a picture of him writing each letter of his name. I then put them into photoshop elements and put them together. Pretty fun!

I was playing Hedbanz with Reagan and Rylan today.  If you want some good entertainment, play that game with preschoolers.  You wear a headband and put a card facing everyone else.  They know what is on the card, but you do not.  It will tell you what you are and you ask questions until you figure it out.  So, Reagan was a Goat.  He knew he was an animal.  "Am I a tiger?  Am I a lion? Am I a cheetah?"

"No." I said. "Let me give you a hint.  You have two horns."

"Am I a band?"  he replied.

"What?"  I said.

"Am I a band?"

"You're an ANIMAL!!"
