Driving in the van today, or "ban" as Rylan says, with Reagan and Rylan and we had some pretty good conversation.  As I turned a corner Reagan says, "I just saw Justin Beaver!  He was right there!"

Rylan says, "Who is Justin Beaver?"

They go back and forth with Reagan trying to describe who Justin Beaver is.  He does bad things and is covered in discusting stuff.

Then Rylan said, "He has garbage all over him?"

It was about this time that we saw the missionaries walking along the road.  I said, "There's the missionaries.  Lets wave to them!"

Reagan tells us that he feels bad for them because they have to walk everywhere. Then Rylan adds, "They are the strongest!  They don't even stop for a breast!" (you know a break and a rest)

Rylan sings "Yankee Doodle Daniel" about 20 times a day.  Whenever Wesley fusses, he sings it to make him happy.  Whenever I ask him to sing me a song, he sings it.  Whenever he is running and playing iand feeling really happy, he sings it.  When he is done he finishes by shouting, "Keep it up, Yankee Doodle Daniel!!!"

How 'bout Them Apples!?

Brad likes apples.  Specifically the golden delicious apples that are served at his school for lunch.  Brad is also smart.  He has figured out how to get as many apples as possible.  He takes the two he is permitted.  He has all his friends take theirs.  He trades for chocolate milk, or whatever.  He has many kids giving him their extra apples. Kids he does not even know give him apples.  He fills his backpack.  He comes home from school and goes right to the fridge and unloads 10-14 apples.  He eats 4-6 a day.  He eats the whole apple, stem and all.  This is the kid who won't eat food I make "because of the texture."  No longer a valid excuse.

Kids at school are starting to call him Apple Boy or Johnny Apple Seed.

Spikies

My boys were fascinated my the spikey things.  While taking pictures of them I got some in my hair and they were really worried for me.  "Mom! You got poison in your hair!!"
