Happy Birthday BRAD!!

Brad is 9 years old today! He has been busy setting up for his party since early this morning. The party is not until 4:00. I have a feeling it is going to be a fun (long) day. He has made table center pieces out of legos. Brad is creative. Brad is a passionate kid. He does everything 110%. He has a new passion/obsession. It is the University of Utah Utes. His new favorite color is red and he despises anything that reminds him of BYU. His flag feddish has dissolved. All of Brad’s life he has had obsessions. Here are a few:

Little People

Elmo (a giant Elmo doll from Grandma went with us everywhere. To the park, in the stroller, and was always buckled in the car next to Brad.)

Santa Claus (this one was intense and long too. It ended with me telling him the truth about Santa when he was only about 3 or 4 years old. {I know what you are thinking}He was in denial for awhile. But finally he accepted it.)

Camouflage (I had a hard time finding Brad during this one)

Basketball (this one was short lived)

Flag/USA (this one lasted the longest and anyone who met Brad knew it)

And now the Utes. (going strong)
