Reagan asked me, "Mom, if you could buy a house or a car, what would you buy?"

"A house."

"But you wouldn't have anything in it."

"I would buy it in a warm place.  I would live there in the winter."

"But if you bought a car, you would have, like, $300 dollars left."

"Hmmm.  You're right."

"AND if you bought a car, you could drive all over to different places for vacation."
